At Glazerite, we regularly install the Kraftsman range of Flush windows in homes throughout the West Midlands. Flush uPVC windows have a slimmer appearance than most uPVC windows, making them the perfect match for both contemporary and traditional homes.
Externally, the windows are flush with the frame, creating a window with beautiful clean lines. They are available in a choice of five colours: White, Cream, Agate Grey, French Grey or Anthracite Grey, each of which has a woodgrain effect which closely replicates timber windows. We have recently introduced a new smooth matt Spectral finish in Anthracite Grey, which feels luxurious to the touch.
Internally, the windows are White with either a smooth or a woodgrain effect, with a decorative sculptured ovolo finish. Rather than having a woodgrain effect, if preferred, the windows can be made with a smooth white finish both inside and outside.
Our windows achieve excellent thermal efficiency to keep your home warm, achieving a U-Value of 1.4 W/m²K when double glazed. The lower the U Value, the more efficient the window.
From the outside, the beauty of flush sash windows is that you cannot easily tell which of the sashes open and which remain fixed as the flush detailing ensures that the whole window has clean, contemporary lines. You have the freedom to choose which of your windows you would like to open and which will remain fixed. For window designs where there are two opening sashes side by side, we can recommend the invisible mullion feature where the mullion appears to disappear once the windows are open.
We can also fit opening restrictors to the windows. This feature can be useful for rooms on a ground floor, a bungalow or a child’s bedroom, where you can be in control of how far the windows open, whilst still allowing fresh air to circulate.
There are many opening configurations to choose from, with every window being made bespoke for your home. A side hung opening window can be made up to 776mm wide and 1,526mm high, whilst a fixed flush casement window can made up to 3 metres wide and 3 metres high. Flush sash uPVC casement windows can be manufactured to form a bay window and can include Georgian bars if required.
Every design is fitted with a multi-point locking system, operated by a push button locking handle which secures all four sides of the opening sash. We offer a choice of three styles of handle in White, Chrome, Gold, Black, Antique Black or Graphite.
