The Spitfire Doors S-200 Signature Series Aluminium Front Door is the best front door available today. There are over 400 designs to choose from. Every front door is made to your bespoke design, giving you the opportunity to create a totally unique front door.
Designs can incorporate a wide range of glazing options such as several individual squares of glass, oval shaped glass, curved glass, a single vertical pane of glass which runs almost the full height of the door, either in the centre or to the left or right. Stainless Steel inserts or CNC grooves add visual interest. Or you can choose a solid aluminium design without glass.
Externally, you can choose either a round, square or an oval bar handle, whilst internally, the doors feature a contemporary lever handle, both handles are a durable luxurious Stainless Steel. Once the door is closed from the outside, the standard latch ensures that the door is securely locked. The S-200 Series Spitfire Doors can be fitted with an electric day latch, which when operated ensures that when the door is closed, all that is needed is a gentle push to gain entry, perfect if you are spending time in your garden and would prefer to be able to come in and out of your home without the need for your key.
For a more traditional front door, we have designs incorporating two triple glazed panels and two decorative aluminium panels. Our traditional designs are available in the same wide range of colours and finishes as the contemporary designs.
Anthracite Grey and Black are currently our most popular colours in either a matt, gloss or textured finish. However, as each of our doors is bespoke, you have the freedom to choose from hundreds of powder-coated colours, including different textures. If you like, you can choose one colour outside with a different colour inside or choose to have the door sash in one colour, with the door frame in a contrasting colour.
Our wood effect finishes are often mistaken for actual timber doors from a short distance away, making them the perfect choice for homeowners who would like the appeal of a wooden door, without the need for the regular maintenance a wooden door demands. Aluminium front doors require very little maintenance, other than an occasional wipe clean with warm water.
When it comes to security, all S-200 Series doors meet PAS24 security and have been tested and passed RC2 levels of security and weathering. The door sash itself is 83mm thick and doors can be made up to 1,150mm wide and 2,250mm high. If a wider or taller door is required, we can install a bespoke glazed side panel or top light. Double doors are also available in a wide range of designs.
For ease of access, a black low aluminium threshold is fitted to all door designs, creating a door which is almost flush with the floor level inside your home.
