The Spitfire Doors S-500 Signature Series Aluminium Front Door is the best front door available today. There are over 400 designs to choose from. Every front door is made to your bespoke design, giving you the opportunity to create a totally unique front door.
Security is high on our list of priorities and the S-500 Series are fitted with security grade multi-point locks and the finest quality door hinges. They have been tested and passed RC3 levels of security. Once the door is shut, it is automatically locked behind you. When you are inside your home, a simple turn of the lever handle and the door is unlocked and open.
Any of the designs which feature glazing are triple glazed with security laminated glass for extra security. The S-500 Signature Series can achieve U-Values as low as 0.7 W/m2K to keep your home warm.
There is a wide range of colours to choose from in a matt, gloss or textured finish. You can design your door to have one colour outside, with a different colour inside. Our wood effect finishes are often mistaken for actual timber doors from a short distance away, making them the perfect choice for homeowners who like the appeal of a wooden door, without the need for the regular maintenance of a wooden door.
There is so much choice when it comes to the specification of your Spitfire Pivot Door. Doors can feature recessed handles which run the full height of the door and can include subtle LED lights which remain switched on 24 hours a day. You can choose from a carbon-effect, corten rust-effect, ceramic or glass finishes or a wide range of RAL colours in a matt, gloss or metallic finish. If you are looking for a door which has the aesthetics of wood but without the upkeep a wooden door needs, you can choose from our timber effect finishes.
Whilst the Pivot Doors are supplied with a set of keys as standard, you can choose to have a biometric fingerprint scanner installed which is both easy to use and secure.
We also install the Spitfire S-500 Signature Series where a single door can be made up to 1250mm wide, with the option of including a glazed side panel.
If you are looking for a door design which incorporates glazing to allow natural light into your home, glass designs can be positioned horizontally, vertically or to form an oval shape within the aluminium door. You can choose clear or obscured glass, or a combination of both. As with the S-200 Series, Stainless Steel inserts or CNC grooves add visual interest within the door design, or you can choose a solid aluminium design without glass.
The door sash itself is 95mm thick, which is twice as thick as the average composite door, with a 3mm aluminium wall to the inside and outside of the door, ensuring it is strong and secure.
Doors can be installed up to 1250mm wide by 2700mm high to create a grand entrance to your home. For openings wider than 1250mm, we can supply a bespoke set of double doors, or a single door with side panels on one or both sides of the door. For additional height, a glazed top light can be supplied.
Biometrics for your front door
A Fingerprint reader can be installed within your door sash or door handle which will allow you to programme many fingerprints for family and friends. The fingerprint reader works via a Smart App so you can see who is coming and going through your door even when you are not at home. We can also install your door with a code pad, giving you the freedom to create your unique code to gain access. All doors which have the fingerprint reader installed within the door handle itself will have a subtle LED light installed which remains on 24 hours a day. The S-500 can also feature a face recognition scanner.
